With mega points available in each sprint it was always going to be ‘on like Donkey Kong’ from the get go! 100+ riders from all grades raced the 8 laps of the LaGuardia Loop. Next week we race in the alternate direction with the same points up for grabs. Many riders have described the series as “the perfect hit out before the new ZRL season”.

We understand life gets in the way of racing all eight races in the season - so, your best five of eight races will count towards the championship.

Point Scoring

  • FAL - First 15 riders in each grade across the New York Sprint line each lap (35,30,25,20,15,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1)

  • FTS - Fastest 30 riders in each grade through the sprint segment on each lap (50,45,40,38,36,34,32,30,28,26,24,22,20,18,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1)

  • FIN - First 30 riders in each grade across the finish line (100,90,80,75,70,65,60,55,50,45,40,35,30,25,20,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1)

The 2026 SISU World Championships have reached the end of their second chapter, with the Road Race delivering everything we hoped for — tactics, attacks, suffering, sprint finishes and another collection of rainbow jerseys.

After the pure race against the clock of the opening Individual Time Trial, riders swapped pacing plans for race craft as they took on Bambino Fondo, Watopia across 26–27 September.

And now we have our Road Race World Champions.

The clock has stopped, the iTT World Champions have been crowned, and now the 2026 SISU World Championshipsturn their attention to a very different challenge.

It’s Road Race weekend.

On 26–27 September, riders from across the SISU Racing community will line up on Bambino Fondo in Watopia, swapping the solitude of the individual time trial for the tactics, positioning and unpredictability of racing shoulder-to-shoulder in the bunch.

ZRL Race 1: New Season, New Format, Same SISU Spirit

The 2026/27 Zwift Racing League season is underway, and Race 1 delivered just about everything we love about ZRL — hard racing, new faces, familiar teammates, personal bests and, naturally, just enough pre-race mayhem to light up Discord.

SISU Racing entered the new season with a record number of teams, making this our biggest ZRL campaign yet. It was fantastic to see hundreds of riders pulling on the blue and white jerseys across the globe as another season of team racing began.
