CODE OF CONDUCT

The SISU Racing Code of Conduct (Code) outlines the standards of behaviour expected of all Riders and Participants. In addition, it provides guidelines to safeguard personal information in online activities. It is the responsibility of all Participants to uphold this Code. 

Failure to observe any part of the Code may be considered misconduct and expulsion from SISU Racing and all SISU Racing collaboration and event environments.

CODE BRIEF and SISU MISSION

SISU Racing Vision is one of the leading community-based esports brands globally. Our objective is to create a โ€˜race teamโ€™ experience that is fun and rewarding. To do this, we draw on the uniqueness of each other to inspire brilliance, inclusion, connection, belonging, and growth.

Our Ridersโ€™ Code of Conduct outlines our expectations regarding participants behaviour during events and associated online environments to support our objectives and enhance the experience of all participants.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all SISU Racing team members; who ride or race with the team or can be linked to the team by action or communication.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The following principles are central to this Code and should always be adhered to by all Participants:

  • Commit to conducting themselves by SISU Racingโ€™s inclusion,connection, belonging, and growth goals.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others by acting with honesty, integrity and treating others in a fair, ethical and considerate way.

  • Understand and maintain compliance with ZWIFT, WTRL and ZRL standards, rules, regulations, and policies.

  • Not misuse or disclose confidential information and respect the privacy of individuals and other third parties.

  • Refrain from any behaviour that may bring the sport of e-sports cycling into disrepute.

  • Ensure any representations made to Zwift/WTRL/ZRL regarding performance, calibration, and biometrics are true and correct.

  • Show concern, empathy and caution towards others that may be sick or injured.

  • Consider and respect the needs of riders with a disability and those more vulnerable in society, including transgender, intersex and gender diverse participants.

SISU SPIRIT AND MINDSET

SISU is a spirit that inspires courage to strive for aspirational goals in a fun environment that creates a culture and community of belonging. 

We believe that every rider has the potential to be smarter, faster, and stronger, to reach new levels of capability, and to be enriched by the strength of the team. Riders are encouraged to:

  • Engage in the SISU Collaboration environment โ€“ Discord and SISU Racing Website, to stay up to date on events, the race passes, changes or announcements.

  • Be clear when communicating your availability to join an event.

  • Share their stories and take satisfaction from their efforts irrespective of the results.

SOCIAL MEDIA

All Riders must conduct themselves appropriately when using social networking and referring to SISU Racing or using SISU Racing branding. When using platforms to share information related to SISU Racing, the material must not contain information that:

  • It can be offensive, aggressive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, profane, harassing, embarrassing, intimidating, sexually explicit, bullying, hateful, racist, sexist or inappropriate.

  • Is inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent or breaches the privacy or confidentiality of other Riders.

  • Has the potential to derogate from or negatively affect the image, goodwill, name or reputation of SISU Racing and SISU Riders.
