Stage 5 Race Report - Road to Sky Delivers a Spectacular Queen Stage
Road to Sky delivered everything a Grand Tour should. Brutal gradients, tactical pacing, and a relentless final climb combined to create the defining stage of the 2026 SISU Tour. As riders tackled Zwift's iconic ascent to the summit, the race for the Keltainen Jersey tightened while the Mountain Goat classification took centre stage.
The Queen Stage rewarded patience as much as power. Riders who resisted the temptation to attack too early found themselves passing fading rivals on the final kilometres, while others discovered just how unforgiving Road to Sky can be.

Team Classifications
The Team Classification remains one of the closest contests in SISU Tour history, with 288 teams competing for the ultimate team prize.
Sprintteri & Vuorikauris Classifications
Road to Sky also marked the conclusion of the 2026 SISU Tour's Mountain Goat Classification. After four stages of climbing segments across Stages 2, 3, 4 and the decisive Queen Stage, the Vuorikauris Jersey winners have now been determined. The final ascent rewarded the Tour's strongest climbers - congratulations!
Looking Ahead – STAGE 6
Tuesday 21 - Wednesday 22 July
There is no time to recover.
Stage 6 brings riders to Gentil 8, a 23 km Individual Time Trial through the rolling roads of France. After the climbing spectacle of Road to Sky, attention shifts to pacing and precision.
There will be no wheels to follow and no teammates to hide behind. Every rider faces the clock alone, making this one of the most decisive stages of the Tour. Strong time triallists will look to claw back precious seconds before the traditional finale in Paris, while overall contenders must balance aggression with control to defend their positions.
With just two stages remaining, every second now matters.
Let's go racing!
