SISU Pinkki 2026 – Race Update After Stage 3
The Race for Pink Intensifies
Three stages into SISU Pinkki 2026 and the Open event is rapidly evolving from an energetic Grand Tour opening into a true battle of endurance, tactics, and resilience.
After the fast chaos of Sugar Cookie and the brutal climbing test of Radio Rendezvous, Stage 3 on Watts of the Wild delivered another layer of difficulty — rolling terrain, dirt sectors, and relentless changes in rhythm that punished tired legs and rewarded riders willing to stay aggressive.
The General Classification picture is beginning to take shape.
The strongest all-rounders are starting to emerge, while small mistakes and moments of weakness are already creating meaningful time gaps. Riders are no longer racing purely on fresh legs and adrenaline — they’re now racing through fatigue.
And that changes everything.
The dirt sectors of Watts of the Wild proved especially decisive, with repeated surges splitting groups and forcing riders to constantly fight for position. Teams that communicated well and protected their GC contenders gained valuable advantages, while opportunistic riders launched attacks whenever the terrain turned chaotic.
But with four stages still remaining, including the Individual Time Trial on Beach Island Loop, the fight for pink is far from over.
If anything, it’s only becoming more dangerous.
Beyond the racing itself, SISU Pinkki continues to showcase what makes the series special — riders from around the world sharing suffering, teamwork, encouragement, and belief through every stage.
Because Grand Tours are never won alone.
And after three demanding stages across Watopia, the SISU spirit is stronger than ever.
