SISU Pinkki 2026 – Race Update After Stage 2

Pink Dreams Begin to Take Shape

Two stages into SISU Pinkki 2026 and the opening week of racing has already delivered fast attacks, brutal climbing battles, and the first real signs of who may emerge as this year’s Pinkki champions.

Stage 1 on Sugar Cookie launched the tour with aggressive, high-speed racing across Watopia’s rolling terrain. Riders fought hard for position from the opening kilometres, with repeated surges stretching the field and rewarding teams who raced with composure and strong communication.

The opening stage also saw the first Pinkki jerseys awarded — a special moment in any Grand Tour campaign.

But it was Stage 2 on Radio Rendezvous that truly began shaping the General Classification battle.

The savage gradients of the Radio Tower climb created the first major time gaps of the tour as climbers and explosive all-rounders attacked the ascent with everything they had. Riders who started too hard paid the price quickly, while the strongest climbers surged clear searching for valuable seconds.

After two stages, fatigue is beginning to build and the tour is starting to reveal its character.

Still to come are the dirt sectors of Watts of the Wild, the precision of the Beach Island Loop Individual Time Trial, Shorelines and Summits, and the explosive final stages across Watopia’s volcanic and gravel roads.

But beyond the results, SISU Pinkki continues to showcase what makes the event special — riders from around the world sharing suffering, encouragement, teamwork, and resilience through every stage.

Five stages remain.
And the fight for pink is only just beginning.
