SISU Pinkki 2026 – Stage 2 Preview

SEVEN STAGES. TWO PINK DREAMS.

The roads of Watopia are about to tilt upward.

After the fast and punchy opening stage on Sugar Cookie, SISU Pinkki now heads into more dangerous territory with Stage 2 — Radio Rendezvous. A route that blends rolling speed with one of Watopia’s most iconic and demanding climbs.

This is where the General Classification battle begins to take shape.

Radio Rendezvous is a route built around anticipation. Riders know the climb is coming. Teams know the climb is coming. And yet the challenge is often less about the mountain itself and more about how much energy is spent before reaching it.

The opening kilometres are likely to be raced aggressively as teams fight for positioning and attempt to protect their GC hopefuls before the road turns skyward. Riders caught too far back before the climb begins may find themselves burning precious energy simply trying to stay in contact.

And then comes the ascent to the Watopia Radio Tower.

Shorter than the Epic KOM, but significantly steeper and more explosive, the Radio Tower climb is one of the most feared roads on Zwift. Brutal gradients pitch upward immediately, forcing riders deep into the red with almost no opportunity to recover.

This is not a climb that rewards patience alone.
It rewards courage.

The steep switchbacks will encourage repeated attacks from punchy climbers and explosive GC contenders looking to create separation. Riders with strong punch-to-weight ratios could thrive here, while others may simply focus on limiting losses before the road eventually eases.

Expect the elastic to snap quickly.

Small gaps on the lower slopes can become massive time losses by the summit. On a climb this steep, there is nowhere to hide and no teammate can pedal the climb for you.

For the SISU Pinkki peloton, Stage 2 represents the first true test of climbing resilience. Legs already carrying fatigue from Stage 1 will now be asked to respond to relentless gradients and repeated accelerations.

But Radio Rendezvous is also what Grand Tour racing is all about.

Suffering shared over Discord.
Teammates encouraging each other through the pain cave.
Riders discovering they can hold on just a little longer than they thought possible.

For some, this stage could launch a serious Pinkki campaign. For others, it will simply be about surviving the climb, staying connected to teammates, and showing the kind of determination that defines SISU.

Because SISU Pinkki isn’t just about watts.
It’s about heart.

And on Radio Rendezvous, every rider will need both.
