SISU Pinkki 2026 – Stage 1 Preview

SEVEN STAGES. TWO PINK DREAMS.

We’re rolling into the first Grand Tour of the year — the 109th edition of the Giro d’Italia.

SISU Pinkki is our tribute to endurance, elegance, and explosive racing spirit. Inspired by the Giro, we’ll turn Watopia pink for seven unforgettable stages. From rolling roads to brutal climbs, this is more than a race — it’s a test of resilience, teamwork, and belief.

As part of our commitment to the advancement of women in esports, SISU Racing is proud to host both an Open SISU Pinkki and a Women’s Only SISU Pinkki this season — creating more opportunity, visibility, and belonging within our community and the sport.

Here, riders don’t just race each other — they discover what they’re capable of.

Stage 1 Preview

The 2026 SISU Pinkki begins with one of Watopia’s most deceptively challenging routes — Sugar Cookie.

Fast, rolling, and relentlessly punchy, Sugar Cookie is the perfect opening stage for a Grand Tour. The terrain constantly changes rhythm, forcing riders to surge over short climbs before recovering quickly on flowing descents and high-speed flats.

This is not a stage where riders can switch off.

Positioning will matter. Teamwork will matter. And smart energy management could already shape the General Classification battle before the mountains even arrive.

Expect an aggressive start as fresh legs and opening-stage nerves collide. Teams will look to establish control early, while opportunistic riders may try to split the field on the repeated rises and volcanic roads.

Sugar Cookie rewards riders who race with composure and punishes those who burn too many matches too early.

Most importantly, Stage 1 is where the first Pinkki jerseys are earned. The riders leaving Sugar Cookie in pink won’t just hold a time advantage — they’ll carry momentum, confidence, and belief into the six stages ahead.

It’s time to turn Watopia Pink!

Let’s go racing.
