Stage 3 Race Report - Knights of the Roundabout Delivers Drama

The 2026 SISU Tour continued in spectacular fashion with Stage 3 – Knights of the Roundabout, a stage that demanded constant focus, tactical awareness and fast decision making. With roundabouts, repeated sprint opportunities and short climbs scattered throughout the route, riders were rewarded for smart positioning as much as raw power.

Across every grade, the racing was aggressive from the opening kilometres. Breakaways formed and dissolved, sprint trains battled for every last second, and the general classification contenders had to stay alert all the way to the finish. It was another showcase of what makes the SISU Tour unique - competitive racing supported by an incredible global community.

Keltainen Jersey Leaders

The battle for the yellow jersey tightened further, with several grades welcoming new leaders while others successfully defended their advantage.

Team Classifications

The Team Classification remains one of the closest contests in SISU Tour history, with 288 teams competing for the ultimate team prize.

Sprintteri & Vuorikauris Classifications

Stage 3 proved decisive for the Sprintteri Classification, with multiple sprint segments creating constant opportunities for riders chasing the blue jersey. The competition has quickly become one of the highlights of this year's Tour, with plenty of banter and tactical discussion continuing across the SISU Discord.

The Mountain Goat Classification also continued to evolve, although the biggest shake-up is still expected on Stage 5 when riders face the legendary climb up Road to Sky.

Looking Ahead – STAGE 4

Tuesday 14 - Wednesday 15 July

The Tour now heads to Stage 4 – The Three Musketeers, another demanding French road race that blends punchy climbs with fast, technical roads. Riders will need to balance patience and aggression, knowing that every acceleration could split the field and every mistake could prove costly.

General Classification hopefuls will be looking to defend or improve their positions, sprint contenders will continue chasing valuable points, and teams will once again rely on strength in numbers as the Tour enters its decisive middle phase.

With four stages remaining, every jersey is still very much up for grabs.

Let's go racing!
