ZRL IS BACK: SISU Racing Ready to Soar into Season Six

The waiting is almost over. Tomorrow, the start pens fill, the countdown begins and another season of the Zwift Racing League gets underway.

For SISU Racing, this one is particularly special. We enter our sixth season racing ZRL with our biggest contingent yet: a record-breaking 50 teams and more than 500 riders, making SISU one of the largest communities taking on the series.

From those first ZRL adventures to 50 teams lining up together, it has been quite the ride.

50 Teams. 500+ Riders. One SISU.

This season will see a record number of SISU teams across the grades, together with more SISU Women’s teams than ever before. The numbers tell one part of the story, but what connects those 500+ riders is something that can't be measured in watts.

SISU.

The Finnish spirit of determination, resilience and courage is something no other team brings to the start pen quite like we do. It has been part of our identity from the beginning and will once again be at the heart of how we race this season.

Race hard. Support your teammates. Keep going when it hurts. And enjoy the adventure together.

It’s Time to Fly

There is another distinctly Finnish flavour to the SISU ZRL peloton.

Most of our ZRL teams are named after Finnish birds, so with 50 teams preparing to take flight, there seems only one appropriate challenge for the season ahead:

It’s time to soar to new heights.

And for those keeping track of the really important statistics, we can confirm the SISU wardrobe breakdown for 2026/27.

46 teams will race in the now familiar all-blue SISU Racing kit, while four teams will proudly keep our history alive by racing in the original and classic white-and-blue kit.

A Shout-Out to Our Captains

Getting 500+ riders organised and 50 teams onto the virtual start line doesn't happen by itself.

A huge thank you to our SISU Captains for the time, energy and patience they have put into building rosters, coordinating riders, answering questions and getting their teams ready to race.

The captain is at the heart of every great ZRL team, and we couldn't do this without them.

Tomorrow the spreadsheets can finally take a back seat.
